16 November 2009 No Comment

Do you want  to boost your metabolism, lose weight or manage your existing weight loss plus increasing your feelings of well-being?

You can change how you look on the outside and how you feel on the inside -about yourself and about food – forever just by following your own Tap.Eat.Step Programme

There is a Tap. Eat. Step Programme to suit your needs.

Click here for details of the 30 Day Change how you feel about food – forever Programme

Click here for details of the 100 Day Programme to free you of long-term self-sabotaging behaviour around food.

On the Tap.Eat.Step Programmes you are encouraged to reach a target of 10,00 steps a day. However, as with all other elements of the Programme, targets are arrived at by respecting and acknowledging where you are today in your personal journey towards improved health and well-being. So, if you are new to daily walking then the target steps reflect this and you can chart your own progress and increased step count with your own Omron pedometre. And, if walking isn’t going to work for you, for whatever reason, then together we will put in place alternatively forms of activity that you can enjoy and benefit from.

  • STEP – Walk your way to inner peace

Stephania Piazzalunga , a psychotherapist working in Italy is a great advocate of the power of walking. She says that it is when we walk that we reach the most depth.

  • STEP – Walk your way to fitness

A brisk one mile walk in 20 minutes burns around 100Kcal. That’s as much as swimming for 10 minutes, playing football for 12 minutes or doing aerobics for 16 minutes. Regular walking can also halve your risk of a heart attack.

  • STEP – You need never walk alone

If you would like to supplement your regular daily step count with occasional walkabouts into new horizons, but are not sure about going it alone, an easy way to meet fellow walkers is by joining the Ramblers Association.
