Reiki Healing
This is perhaps the oldest known form of energy therapy. The Kanji character shown here is Chinese for Reiki. It was adopted by the Japanese in the 3rd or 4th Century as their writing system. The upper part means universal and the lower part means life force.
I find the whole Reiki process to be powerful and humbling and it is an honour to be of assistance in this ancient form of healing. It is always by definition, a gentle and non-invasive hands-on therapy. It can help the release of tension and stress from the body and mind. It provides sanctuary from the continuous babble of our modern lives, allowing the body to find a rare inner stillness and peace. It can be a time of wonderful healing that transcends that it is just you and I in a room to something unique and quite inexplicable.
A Reiki session lasts approximately one hour. It is performed with the client lying down, covered with a light blanket. There is no need to remove clothes other than loosen anything uncomfortable and of course remove shoes.
Reiki healing is deeply relaxing and can be safely applied to any condition as the therapy is holistic – treating the person as a whole rather than focusing on medical conditions. This means that if you are feeling over-whelmed, vulnerable or generally not well in yourself a Reiki session can often be particularly beneficial.
I am happy to speak with you prior to making a booking to make sure Reiki is absolutely right for you.
Please feel free to contact me and I can answer any questions you have about Reiki healing.
A Reiki session lasts around one hour and costs £40, although please allow around 90 minutes for the first session so that we can explore any current health or well-being concerns you may have.
If you wish you can pre-pay for a Reiki session for yourself or purchase a voucher on line that you can give as a gift.
Mail me your contact details using this link and once payment authorisation has been received I will contact you to arrange a convenient time for your pre-paid Reiki session.
