TAP – Spring is Coming

spring_comingYou may not be able to credit it on a grey, damp winter’s day but the shortest day has been and gone and Spring is on its way. It’s now the time to think about how you want to feel about yourself when the weather begins to warm up just a few months from now?

Or, maybe the Christmas and New Year festivities have taken their toll on your liver or your waist-line and you just feel ready to make some changes for yourself. There is never a better time than now to implement a new, healthier regime.

And there is so much you can do yourself – small changes that can have a big impact on your life.

You could:

Decide to always leave your desk or home at lunch time and go for a short walk – 10 minutes will refresh you, 20 minutes counts as an aerobic session.

Be alcohol free from Monday through to Thursday and just drink moderately at the weekend;

Eat a slow-energy release breakfast everyday – something oat based with fruit;

Cut down on red meat to once a week and replace your protein source with oily fish like salmon or mackrel;

Eat your five a day of fresh fruit and vegetables – and just think in Australia their target is nine a day so feel free to over do it;

Drink fresh water often and regularly throughout the day. Many minor ailments such as poor concentration,  headaches, sore or dry flaky skin are manifestations of our body’s cry for water;

A doctor friend of ours once said if people are only abledo only one thing to improve the quality of their health and increase their chances of longevity – let it be to stop smoking – everything else pales into insignificance;

Spend as much time as possible with friends and loved ones and laugh together – wholeheartedly.

Take some time to think what other things you could bring into your life to feed your heart and lift your spirits and remember you can use the free tapping resources here to learn about tapping and how to use this amazing technique to bring about and support the changes for good in your life.
